Discuss “Sports in Brief”

Two members of the CMU football team, junior defensive back Aaron Lewis and senior offensive guard Bryan LeBude, earned first-team ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American honors in a poll released last week. Lewis holds a 3.95 GPA and was named to the first-team All-UAA team for the third straight year after leading the conference in tackles with 115, including 61 solo. Lebude also excelled academically, and started every game at guard for the Tartans, leading the team to the UAA rushing title.
