Discuss “Track teams win at home”

It was a busy week for the track teams, as the men and women found themselves in the midst of three meets in a three day span. On Wednesday, the teams hosted the Carnegie Mellon Invitational, where they defeated local competition. Last Friday, distance runners from the men?s team traveled to Bucknell while others traveled to Robert Morris.

Wednesday?s meet was by far the smallest of the three, with just one other team, Waynesburg College, competing against the Tartan men. The women faced off against

both Waynesburg and the University of Pittsburgh?Johnstown.

The men recorded 13 first- place finishes in dismantling Waynesburg, 121?52. Graduate student Nik Bonaddio, normally a 400-meter runner, surged past UAA 200-meter champion Russel Verbosky...
