The radio station WRCT started a revised broadcast schedule "designed to keep both Tech's 'midnight oilers' and 'afternoon drowsers' company," The Tartan reported. They also started a number of features, such as "novelty music programs." WRCT said they were looking for eager "spinners" to join up with the station, and was surprised when protests among the "afternoon oilers" and the "mid-morning drowsers" began ? these students felt disenfranchised by the program. Personally, I only oil in the evening; midnight is out of the question.
