Senior tennis player Mona Iyer described it best when she said, “The fall season is just a tease for the spring.” While it may be a short tease of a season, Carnegie Mellon’s tennis teams certainly have a lot to be excited about — both the men’s and women’s team crushed their competition last week.
The women competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional Women’s Tennis Tournament which was held at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va. The tournament opened on Saturday, September 23, with the final round ending on Monday.
