Discuss “Women’s volleyball sees first UAA play”

Over the weekend, the women’s volleyball team traveled to Emory University in Atlanta to participate in the first round of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Round Robin. The team faced Emory, the University of Rochester, and Brandeis University. Suffering their only loss to Emory, the Tartans ended their weekend 2–1, bringing their season record to 9–9.

In Carnegie Mellon’s first match Friday afternoon, Emory defeated the Tartans 3–1. During the first set, the team came out playing hard to win 30–27, but then dropped three straight to lose the game.
