Discuss “Swimming takes first and second at invite”
The men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams dove into action last weekend at the James Longnecker Invitational at Grove City College. The men’s team won the overall team title with 1081.5 points. Behind the Tartans, Grove City and Washington & Jefferson College finished second and third with 999 and 462 points, respectively. The women’s team finished in second place behind W&J. W&J collected 850.5 points to the Tartans’ 660 points.
On the men’s side, the Carnegie Mellon 400-yard freestyle relay ‘A’ team of first-years Reece Dukes and Andrew Seo, senior captain David Krzeminski, and sophomore Ron Papa finished first (3:31.40). In addition, the men’s relay teams came in second in the 200-yard freestyle relay,...
