Discuss “Church named Dean of Student Affairs”

Interim dean of Student Affairs Jennifer Church has been officially named dean of Student Affairs, vice president of Enrollment William Elliott announced in a press conference Monday.

Church has served in the interim dean position since June 2005, when former dean Michael Murphy was promoted to associate vice president of the university. In her time as interim dean, Church has initiated new programs on the Carnegie Mellon campus, such as the Late Night Program and the Greek Task Force, according to The Tartan's March 27 article "Candidates for permanent dean of Student Affairs hold forums."
