Subject: John Bowe

The Basics: John Bowe, the author of Nobodies: Modern American Slave Labor and the Dark Side of the New Global Economy, will speak about the use of outsourcing and immigration fraud by various corporations. He will highlight the fact that the only part of this operation noticed by the majority of American citizens is the resulting low prices of consumer goods. The lecture will include a question and answer session and will be followed by a reception and book signing.

The lecture is hosted by Carnegie Mellon’s chapter of Amnesty International.

When: Tuesday at 6 p.m.
