Discuss “Men’s cross country takes ninth at NCAAs ”

Saturday, the men’s cross-country team competed in the NCAA Division III Cross-Country Championships at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. The men’s team surpassed expectations and placed ninth out of 32 teams with 372 points, improving on last year’s 12th place finish.

Only the top 32 teams in Division III competed in the final race of the season. New York University, a member of Carnegie Mellon’s conference, finished first with 128 points.

In the 8K race, junior Brian Harvey led the team and finished 12th overall with a time of 24:57. Prior to the championships, Harvey was named NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Athlete of the Year after an incredible first-place finish at regionals.
