Discuss “To Boycott or not to Boycott the Beijing Olympics?”
The last thing China needs as it heads into the stretch run preparing for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games is an international outcry to boycott the games to be held in Beijing this summer. But that is where things stand after the Chinese government used brutal means to put down Tibetan protesters two Fridays ago.

As a Chinese student who have been in the US for over 5 years, I am very sad to see that people and media here always have a very biased view of China -- its government and its people. To me any form of boycott will only bring hatred and resistance. Olympics is just not the right platform to spread hatred.
