Discuss “All should pay attention to the war”
Last week, after five years of conflict, the number of American casualties in Iraq reached 4000, as reported by The New York Times. Without a doubt, this news is tragic. Each soldier’s death reminds us of the waste and destruction that human beings unleash on each other in times of war and conflict.
However, the most upsetting element to this bloody landmark is that it caught so many Americans by surprise. At this time last year, the death toll of American soldiers was nearing 3500, and President Bush was beginning to talk about a troop surge. It had been the bloodiest year of the war yet, and over 50 percent of Americans knew what the casualty count looked like, according to an ongoing study conducted at the Pew Center. This year, only...

Unfortunately, there are people like Barack Obama who continue to LIE about their positions on this illegal war for political gain.
Okay. Let's be clear.
Obama was "against the war" (2002)
"Not sure how he would have voted" -NYT (2004)
"Not much difference between myself and Bush (2005)
Voting for ALL appropriations for the war (2006). 84 times!!! "Always against the war" (2008)
That's not called judgement. It's called WAFFLING (I think "Lying" works here, too).
Since then he has repeatedly promised to withdraw the troops in 17 months--except his senior Economic Advisor Samantha Powell told Scottish TV that was "just campaign rhetoric" and a "best case scenario"
Obama says he won't accept money from special interests--but he accepts money from "bundlers"(including 250K from a venture capital firm) took $200K from the nuclear industry & all the union money he can get his hands on.
He touts his eloquent speeches--borrowed from others (Deval Patrick, June Jordan, Jesse Jackson, John Edwards) without credit.
He says he's a unifier that can heal "racial divisions"--but he belongs to a radical Black Power church and listens to the hate preached by Jeremiah Wright

His church recently awarded black supremacist LOUIS FARRAKHAN a lifetime achievement award. Obama also quoted Malcolm X (“There will be bamboozling” speech-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuB_W8o_UsU. Remember Malcolm X? He write that nice, race unifying speech: "The Ballot Box or the Bullet" --again without attribution.
Then of course there is the whole OBAMA/legislative EXPERIENCE angle. After all, he voted present, how many times? 20? 30? 40? Oh, my gosh--I FORGOT! ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY TIMES!!. And, of course, how many times he did what? PUSH THE WRONG BUTTON? 7 times. I mean, that's a little EMBARRASSING, wouldn't you say? (it's a pretty big button, after all). In the Senate, he has PASSED TWO BILLS: to promote democracy in Africa and to name a post office. (Clinton has passed 54 for comparison)
He has only been present 20% of the name. What usually happens if someone doesn't show up for work and does NOTHING when they're there? A PROMOTION? LOL
THIS GUY HAS NOTHING TO OFFER
