Physical Altercation April 15, 2008 at 1:09 a.m.

A student called University Police to report an unknown male on the Buggy track on Frew Street. The actor had begun a physical fight with the Buggy participants. University Police did not identify the actor as a student and escorted him off campus.

Suspicious Vehicle April 15, 2008 at 3:07 p.m.

A university employee monitoring traffic at the University Center turnaround called University Police to report a vehicle driver that refused to leave the premises after being repeatedly told he did not have access to the area. The driver made various threats to the employee, saying that he should watch his back. University Police arrived on scene, issued the driver a warning, and escorted the vehicle off campus.

Fire
April 16, 2008 at 1:56 p.m.

A student and sister of Delta Gamma called University Police to report a small fire in the dumpster adjacent to their chapter house on the fraternity quadrangle. A University Police officer and Facilities Management Services were able to put out the fire with a hose.

Suspicious Person April 17, 2008 at 12:37 a.m.

A Carnival worker on Midway in the Morewood Gardens parking lot called University Police reporting a male scaling the Ferris wheel. University Police arrived on the scene, determined the male to be a student, cited him, and escorted him off Midway.

Noise Complaint April 17, 2008 at 2:49 a.m.

A resident of Hamerschlag House complained of excessive noise coming from the building’s front yard. University Police found the cause to be an organization using power tools to work on wooden structures for its booth. The small group was advised to stop using the tools and to keep its noise level down.

Vandalism April 17, 2008 at 12:28 p.m.

A student and brother of Pi Kappa Alpha reported spray paint on the front door of the chapter house on the fraternity quadrangle. He did not know where it came from and University Police could not identify any suspects.

Theft April 17, 2008 at 11:05 p.m.

A male student reported his book bag stolen from the Roots concert on the Cut. The student had been watching the concert with friends and, when he looked back at the bag’s previous location next to him, it was missing.
