Based on Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s stage musical of the same name, Sweeney Todd is the story of Benjamin Barker (Johnny Depp). Barker is a barber, living a happy family life, when he is falsely accused and sent to prison. On returning, he becomes Sweeney Todd, a murderer in search of revenge against the judge who wronged him. He is also looking for his daughter, who is currently a ward of the judge. The film swept the Golden Globes by bagging Best Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) and Best Actor (Comedy or Musical).

Will Smith stars in this sci-fi action thriller that takes place in the year 2012 and is set in the ruins of New York City. Smith plays the role of virologist Robert Neville, the lone survivor of a fatal biochemical disease that has wiped out the rest of humanity. Accompanied by his faithful dog Samantha, Neville battles daily against the murderous zombies that now inhabit the city, and perhaps the rest of the world. While fighting for his life, he searches for a cure for the disease, as well as a signs that there are other survivors on Earth.

Sylvester Stallone is doing what he does best in the action flick Rambo. This latest installment of the Rambo series depicts Stallone as a Vietnam War veteran living a simple rural life in Thailand. But his peaceful life takes a sudden turn when he transports a group of Christian missionaries to war-torn Burma to help the locals. This movie has the greatest number of kills out of all the Rambo movies, charting a record 236 and averaging 2.59 kills per minute.
