Waltz with Bashir Thursday April 23 8 10 12 Waltz with Bashir is a 2008 animated documentary from Israel that was written and directed by Ari Folman. The director is himself a veteran of the 1982 Lebanon War and interviews fellow retired Israeli soldiers as he tries to reconstruct his own memories of the conflict, in which he participated when he was just 19. Folman has been both praised and criticized the world over for the subject matter, with the harshest criticisms coming from most of the Arab countries, though Lebanon recently allowed it to be screened privately for the first time. The film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars and has received many other honors.

TBA Sunday April 26 8 10 12 Hey all you seniors out there who still haven’t seen one of Carnegie Mellon’s most sacred traditions: This is your last chance to ever see some naked flesh on the big screen. But really, this once-in-a-semester-event isn’t limited to just seniors — come one, come all those of you who love to see what others are wearing under their clothes. Seriously, make a night out of it, bring your girl/boyfriend, your friends, your friends’ friends (if you’re into that kind of stuff), and you may just find out a little bit more about each other — possibly more than you ever needed or wanted to know.
